At the weekend the following Seishinkai Shotokan Karate International students passed their coveted black-belt gradings in the national gradings which were held at Hemel Hempstead School.

To 2nd Dan Black-belt

To 1st Dan Black-belt
Siva Niranjan (54)
Amanda Gower (13)

This was a great success for the local clubs which are situated in, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, Bovingdon, Watford, St Albans, Croxley Green and Slip End.
The Chief Instructor for the Association worldwide, Malcolm Phipps 8th Dan was extremely pleased with these superb results and stated that the standard was absolutely excellent from all the above candidates.

Also, six competitors from these local clubs have been chosen to go to the World Karate Championships in Germany next weekend to represent Team England.
