This web site is being developed to provide a communication channel and information source for all apsects of sport in Dacorum. It is managed by the DSN but its content is generated by local member clubs and other sport related organisations and partners. It is for the benefit of the public of Dacorum and especially the local sports clubs and active sporting community in our borough.

All local amateur sports clubs are entitled to register and publish their details in the Clubs Directory on this site; including providing links to their own sites where applicable. This directory will build to become a comprehensive source of sports reference for the borough and help the public to find out about the thriving clubs and sporting activities in the area.

Once registered, clubs can also publish news about their clubs, their teams and fixtures, results and reports and even social events; clubs can even add pictures to what they publish. Much of the published information can be searched and sorted by sport and location, club name etc. and for clubs without their own web sites it provides a simple way to use the web to keep their members informed. Published news and events are automatically date triggered, so the latest news and most imminent events always appear at the top of the releveant listings.

As well as publicising local sport, the site will also provide a channel for delivering information to local clubs. Information on funding opportunities, legislation, coaching and club management, best practice and changes in sports politics and administration will be provided via the site. So please visit regularly to find out whats happening that might affect or benefit your club.

We would hope that all local clubs will register and use the site to promote themselves and their sporting activities. We also hope that club members and members of the public seeking information about sport in Dacorum will use the site as their first point of call.

We would ask that all clubs who register and have their own sites to please put a link to this site on your own sites.

NB. The home page will highlight different clubs at random but published information that includes pictures will always be given priority.
