Club description

Located in a large country estate set in 85 acres of broad-leaf woodland meadow on the edge of the Chiltern Hills in north west Hertfordshire. The centre offers a range of activities, which are led by qualified staff, inlcuding archery, mountain biking, low ropes, team building activities, bush craft skills, zip wire and orienteering. Programmes are tailored to suit the needs of the group and their identified outcomes.

The centre is open all year round for day visits and residential stays. It consists of the Main House with a sleeping capacity of 39 and The Lodge which can sleep up to 16. It has a newly renovated kitchen which can be used by self-catering groups.

By getting individuals to engage in outdoor education programmes of activities it has been shown that this not only improves their understanding of a subject but also has a positive effect on their functional and emotional wellbeing, including; improving their social skills, self-esteem and morale. At the end of their stay all young people will feel a sense of personal and group achievement as a result of their visit.
