Club description

Bovingdon and Flaunden Tennis Club is a small, friendly club situated in the picturesque Hertfordshire village of Bovingdon. There is no playing-in standard and everyone is welcome to join in. If you have moved into the area recently, come along for a social game and meet the the members. If you are more serious about your tennis the club runs a number of teams. There are mens, ladies, mixed and junior league fixtures. We like to encourage our junior section and introduce children to the joys of tennis and subsequently help them to improve their skills. There is coaching available for adult and junior members. The Club is open to new members, you are welcome to join in our Saturday afternoon, Wednesday afternoon or Sunday morning social sessions, young players can come along to our Saturday morning junior program. We also run weekly Rusty Racket sessions every Saturday aimed at adults who want to try tennis before joining the Club, look under the coaching tab for more information.
Social tennis is available on Wednesday evenings in the summer and on Sunday mornings and Saturday afternoons any time during the year. Competitive players can play in one of the many men’s, ladies’ or mixed teams.
There are five full size and a junior all weather hard courts, a practice wall and a clubhouse.
