Dacorum Sports Network represents the local sporting community on the Cultural Forum which represents the interests of Sport and Culture in the borough. The Forum helps to formulate, coordinate and implement local community strategies in partnership with Dacorum Borough Council as part of the Dacorum Partnership which brings together local government and local organisations to establish long term priorities for the area, establish shared actions and outcomes and to minimise duplication using resources most effectively.

Our involvement in the Forum helps to ensure that community sport has a voice in this important organisation which is helping to shape our community and respond to community needs.

We were appointed to Chair the Forum in the year leading up to the 2012 Olympics and we helped the Forum to secure funding for and run the Olympic Festival of Sport and Culture in 2011/12.
